Cam Belt

Need to replace the cam belt on the Rs and was wondering what make to get?? Do i use a Gen ford one or i see on the Burton Power website that they do a uprated one???

What one would be best to use??

Aftermarket (Contitech at the moment).

It's much more important that you also change the tensioner AND the water pump. I've seen various cars where the water pump had jammed causing the timing belt to jump...

I have the same dilema - thinking also a Piper one as its got a Piper Cam and Pulley? Or is they poo?

yet to break one , but have seen it happen due to extended use
nothing wrong with the ford items though
as for an uprated one , cant see how this is done
