Default Saph 4x4 help required plz

Couple of times car has conked out on me and wouldn't start again, then after a few trys would go and drive fine.

Have now noticed that when it conks out and I turn the ignition on, the fuel pump keeps buzzing away. Ignition in ON position without trying to start the car and when I touch the fuel line going into regulator you can feel it buzzing under pressure aswell. then eventually after a while the pump goes back to a normal one buzz type noise when ignition is turned to ON and the car will start and tick over and run fine ( untill the next random conk out )

Starting to really piss me off now, any idea's guys ??

fuel pump staying on like this is an indication of an ecu failiure of some type, could be you have a sensor that is braking down of a wiring problem. Fuel pump latch is definately a signal from the ecu telling you something is wrong. Mabe a code read would enlighten you to whats up with it.

Thks for reply, hope it's not the ECU that's faulty Can't afford a massive bill right now will try and get the codes read though and see if that shows anything.
