fuel pump staying on like this is an indication of an ecu failiure of some type, could be you have a sensor that is braking down of a wiring problem. Fuel pump latch is definately a signal from the ecu telling you something is wrong. Mabe a code read would enlighten you to whats up with it.
Thks for reply, hope it's not the ECU that's faulty
Can't afford a massive bill right now
will try and get the codes read though and see if that shows anything.
