Default Fiesta Zetec Turbo (project)

Hi all,

Should of started this post a long time ago as im half way through the project now but thought I ought to show some piccys!
She was bog standard when I got her about a year ago and also very clean..... till I got my mits on it

About 6 months ago I took it down southend which unfortunately didnt make it home, from there the project began! Started off going for a normal mild zetec conversion but as time went on and got more money together ideas started to pop into me head! Also have a brother with a 3dr which I have to try and keep up with

Spec: 2.1 16v zetec turbo, decent pistons , steel rods, arp bolts, L/Balanced,4 layer head gasket, believe the cam profiles have been slightly changed, tubular manifold,t34 externaly gated,
Put to the wheels by a stage 2+ box- modified helix paddle, adjustable lower arms!
All I can remember for now, il put up a more detailed spec later!

Hers some pics from over the last few months
How I got her

Then she got some coilovers and some shiney 3dr rims

Then the engine

Then with black rocker cover,manifold,inlet

Now ceramic coated

Intercooler, Also have huge alloy rad on the way with kenlowe fan

All comments welcome on that picy of the bumper?!

Plans left for it is to have a full cage, flocked dash with defis moulded in, erm the list goes on! Hopefully will be on the road in the next few weeks!

All comments welcome!

cheers

Yeah shes a tad different now,I said I had a few plans lol. Wasnt quite sure on the bumper was only testing how it would look before I cut the hole section out but it grew on me so its still like it

Hopeing she might be up and running in the next few weeks, still def want one of your head light scoops... just want to get the car running first Its taken so much time and money just want to get the bleeding thing back on its wheels...... but still love it!!

Im sure il see ya at a car meet somewhere so when shes all done il pop over and say hello

Yes, if you drive it more enthusiastically than an everyday commuter car you'll pretty much be at a loss without one. If you're using a ceramic coated tubular manifold I'd guess you're going for more than 150bhp with this.

Having fun on roads and using over 4,000rpm for more than 3 minutes or so was seeing my oil temp rise past 260F. With the oil cooler on now, normal driving sees 210-215F, and fast driving sees it at 225-240F.

Oh right, I may have to look into it then I take it your oil cooler pipework runs of a sandwich plate behind the filter??

Car looks awesome in the flesh - especially with those wheels.

IMO the bumper looks pukka Liam, think it will look spot on when it all comes together, with some real decent power to back it up.

keep up the good work

Probably closing in on 25mm thick, plus you need room to get the connectors on for the two hoses.
