I had one with dodgy starting but it was the main 12V cable had been fried by heat (looked okay but felt crispy) replaced the power cable and it was fine.

mines ok rarely plays up only when gave it a bit of stick stopped then tried to start up and took a second for the starter motor to engage i think you will always have problems with erm just where they are right next to turbo and downpipe. heatwrapping will rpobably make erm last longer but will happen in the end

mine had a standard fezza one fitted and burnt out afta a few spirited tries when i was solving a fueling glitch (which was a dodgy fuel pump) but the last owner had placed the orig one in the boot ,so i thought fook it and tried it,alls well and it starts no probs,,,halfords do the recon heavy duty one for the turbs,1yr garrentee, and all new stuff inside, think its £88,on my trade card.
