rover 620 ti

2.0l turbo just shy of 200bhp IIRC

mate had one wicked cars, get recaros in em 2!

only down side is your driving a rover! lol grandad!

dont fancy the 530 - the V8's of that time had issues with the nikasil liners too.

Cawood LOL - i had an 800 Vitesse Sport and i currenlty have an 825SD, which i think is now sold LOL..

the Recaro's in the 800 are MILES better than the 600's too!

I have an Omega Elite, and its chipped, but its Auto and just not quick enough really.

dont really want a rot box carlton (i'd have the 3.0 Turbo Lotus Cartlon rep on Ebay tho)..

Not thought about the Saab......

It depends what you want from it. If its to be a daily runner then I think the Rover 600ti is a good bet as it will be a newer car than the alternatives and they are pretty reliable.

montego turbo be aware-the temp goes up to the red at the same pace as the speedo goes up

I had an Mi16 for 6 years and it never missed a beat.

Not everso fast - but quick, always did 30mpg and outhandled most hot hatches!

Sold it to make way for the cossie, thats bloody quick, 20mpg and handles like an over powered Sierra. Progress?

granada/scorpio cosworth, easy get one for the money and you can say you drive a cossie. down side they are all auto but still go well and all the toys as well.
