hi all just completed the promenade rally in the fiesta but it wasnt very well the week before the rally we fitted a piper cam 285 road and followers on a adjustable pully. we didnt have time to set it up proper and were in a rush so took the car to the rally. car ran ok but at 5000k the car would bog down and wouldnt go any higher asif iy was hitting the limiter early and that and made a misfiring noise hard to explain like a dur dur dur dur at 5000 rpm does anyone know what this could be?
timing out or something else?

hiya pal id take a stab and say timeing i do my own but i woudnt like to mess with somebody elses

 

cheers mate have ried it again but do you think the efi ecu could be a problem getting in the way and tripping out?? i read somewere that the efi cvh can be tempemental to change.
