Can anyone shed any light on this make? Never heard of them before at all!!!











I thought it was a mix of rs500 end tanks and a different core but the name stamped in the side suggests not?!

Has both the 3" outlets and downward pointing inlet form the compressor of the rs500 item!!

Works fine, just nosey for some info on the company really!!

Had a quick look on Google an they seem to be a German radiator company, also go by the name L+R.

Im sure one of our foriegn friends will have more info

Längerer and Reich are famous for making OEM intercoolers for cars in Europe, however they usually use plastic end tanks. This is the first one i seen of all Metal construction.

The Montego turbo used one made by them and so did the Renault (R5/Fuego). Decent thick cores. My question is 'where did u get that'??

ahh cool i got a proper oldskool 500 cooler then

now then, why is mine unpainted??

no signs that its been stripped of its black paint either!

 

Off a touring car perhaps if i had to guess - who cares!! If u dont want it, send it my way!

bloody germans at it again

like i said it works great, but id only ever heard of modine, behr, pace, radtech and forge coolers thought it would be odd for a company to opnly make 1 or 2 of them - would be very expensive!

 

I got one made for Bren at Apex, I think he only made one other and that was deeper.

Seems to work fine though.

Phil its deffo a genuine one m8 as Gus says have the exact one on my old 3Door

 

 

think i'd soak it in degreaser and find some proper matt black heat transfer paint for it

 

My genuine 500 cooler also has that makers name on it on a sticker

yep its a genuine original 500 cooler - mine has that on the side as well

 

And in mine cooler too.... I get it from Ford of Germany RS500 DTM -car.
