Got efi in my s2


If i blip the throttle it doesnt return to idle right away, revs for afew secs then returns

if i disconnect the iscv, after a blip it returns to idle as it should do

also the idle is at 500rpm

any ideas?

its ok ive adusted the idle screw now revs come down quicker

 

try the idle speed control valve, it should be located on the side of where it says efi on the inlet manifold a cylindrical little unit should be mounted there i think. you can give it a clean or a new one, i suggest try cleaning it. its a possibility.
