Default Magnatec 5w 30 oil....

Is this oil any good?

Is it any different to let's say.... silkolene of the same rating?

Halfrauds are doing it at £21.99 or should i put in the extra £20 & go for the silkolene?

Thanks in advance

yes there is a difference...

the price.

if its the same rating and the same oil i.e fully syn or whatever, then it will be ok to use imo.

Your right about the price difference

Yeah they're both fully synthetic, just one's cheaper than the other

Just abit dubious about using it as my evo's only ever had Silkolene or Castrol RS.

I guess the oil should be the same - just different branding

so why change then.....

for the sake of £20 carry on what you have been using.

give it a few moments and you will have oil mans thread on every website copy and pasted on here yet again

usual stuff about what oil to use and then sell you the same stuff he does on every website

wonder if hes managed to use the automated responce in outlook for his emails, you know the ones

you post a email to him asking a question and he just sets his out of the office responce to recoment silkolene,,,,,,, if not what a idea for him,,, be wicked if he could get his pm's to do that too

sorry but this oilman seems to just pop on each site offering deals to people to sell products ,,,, well actually product,,,, cause he tends to sell silkolene to anyone no mater what you got as its a better oil,,,,, even though mobil one has been used for years with no problems in the main majority of cars apart from rods car whos oil broke down in a 210mph sprint,,,,, must be crap for my 1300 kent engine then if it failed at speeds like that
