THE ENGINE MANAGEMENT LIGHT HAS COME ON MY WIFES WINTER RUNABOUT KIA SPORTAGE ANYONE KNOW WHAT IT COULD MEAN IT RUNS AND DRIVES FINE BUT WAS HARD TO START

DID A RECENT SERVICE 2...

A connection on a sensor has either come lose on doing the service, or a sensor has gone down.

It means it needs a diagnostic scan - take it to a dealer or anyone
with a KIA code reader.

THE ENGING HAD A BIT OF A MISSFIRE RECENTLY THOUGHT I MIGHT HAVE TO CHANGE THE LEADS AS NEW PLUGS DID NOT HELP

as said,,, a code reader is the easyest way to find the problem

if you can get hold of come,, i might be able to talk you though how to get the fault code out,, but it would take a bit of time for you
