What oil grade to use?

Hi there,

Not sure on what oil to use. I have a S2 ZVH (1.8) and obviously want to get an oil grade to satisfy both top and bottom end. What grade to you recommend i should use?

5w-40 full synthetic or 10w-40 semi, the fully synthetic would be the better bet.

Is the car modded or tracked at all?

Hi, i only recently brought it but the only major engine mods i know of are it has a big port head and a 1.8 zvh big end and running 14psi mate

In that case, 5w-40 would be my choice.
