Default People's opinions on car mileage??

I was wondering how much the mileage of a car would affect is value? Say you have a car with 100K on it but its basically been restored nut by nut to a very high standard, would you devalue it a lot just on the mileage?

Just thinking about the route i'm going to go. My Mk6 RS2000 has 85K on it now, but everything is coming off and either being reconditioned or renewed. Plan on keeping the car for a few more years as well. Planning on getting 250bhp out of the I4 as well I know it will be worth more in parts when the time comes to sell though

2WD Plan on high comp pistons, steel rods, lightened balanced and knife edged crank, headwork, cams, throttle bodies and either DTA or Emerald management.

Already has a cts MTX box with ATB diff in it, AP 4 pots and comp MOs.

Thing is engine will cost arround £6K which is the price of a nice stage 3 saff

Yes and no depends on the buyer, I judge a car on it condition and to be fair would prefer a slightly below average millage car myself and seeing as your car has averaged just over 9k a year that wouldn't bother me at all

Its the really low and really high millage ones to steer clear off IMO
