EFI manifolds and possible theory for poor running?
is the manifold on the frst the same as one on an xr3i? and anyone know if any of the sensors that attach to it are different.
got a bit of a possible theory for my car not running right. its a converted rst from an xr3i using ofac and efi, i remember him on the phone mentioning where he got the block from but not the head or inlet etc. thinking maybe there is a difference in the manifold or one of the sensors is different. the wiring loom is ok if its not that then reckon it must be the ecu.

Manifolds are Identical.
Some FRST charge air temp sensors are of a different type, but will make no difference to the way the car runs.
Have you set the Base idle and had the CO pot adjusted?

base idle is ok did that through the screw buit i get no adjustment out of the co pot. turn it and nothing happens. had it all on my mates gas analyser and couldnt get it to change.
another geeza told me he reckoned to adjust the co you had to plug it into a diagnostic machine and you get a certain time window to set it. never heard of this though
