Default Att: PC people.......HP Printer HELP

I have a HP 1410 all in one printer. Every time i switch it on it does a test print and a box comes up sayin Quote:

If you have just installed a new print cartridge it is recommended that you align it. Click on "Align" to align your new print cartridge.

but when i renewed the printer cartridge i done what it said and it has done it ever since for the last few months and its starting to piss me off now

I have tried deleting all the HP programs off my pc and reinstalling em but no joy.

Any Ideas?

i need to install a new cartridge today so thought id ask before i did it

I carnt find any common faults for this printer online so its either a one off problem or a cartridge fault, try the new cartridge and see what happens

I was thinking a catridge fault too. Most printers will only use certain catridges now to stop other suppliers stealing the market.

Can't help you, but have you visited the HP website.

I have a 6110 HP printer and fax and have never encountered that problem.
