Default cant boost above 2-3psi!! help!! Options

ok here we go again!!!!!!!!

ok i bought a boost gauge to see what i was boosting,,
it was boosting at 5psi,,
turned up the actuator and still boosting at 5psi!!!
i am not running a amal valve just a closed loop from the actuator to the turbo!!

so i tryed it without no pipes on the actuator to see if it would actually boost above 5psi,, and yeah it did!!

so i thought my actuator was fooked!!! i have recently bought a brand new forge actuator with 9-15psi spring and tryed that and its still the same!!!

its running efi management with beige injectors,,
standard turbo...
NO AIR LEAKS!!!!!!

any1 any ideas??

Weird...

Maybe there's a mechanical fault of the waste gate flap or a crack in the turbine housing.

Did it really boost properly without the hoses? Or just "better"?

Well I'm not sure whether it is possible to get decent boost with a closed loop. You would have have to shorten the actuator rod a lot if your running without amal/bleed valve which in the end isn't good for the waste gate flap/housing.

I'd just throw in a bleed valve and try. If it's still not boosting good enough I'd check the turbine housing of the turbocharger for cracks.
