what mods are required tofit a zetec turbo in a mk1 escort? i.e engine mounting? different sumps? what gearbox etc? all help appretiated, cgeers

to be honest to fit a zetec turbo will be more hassle than fitting a yb
and you wont be able to get massive bhp unlike the the yb

 

If you want big BHP you will need to do major work on the suspension and shell. If you don't you will never get traction, so there is no point in havign all that power.

 

i should imagine a zetec turbo will still need suspension and shell mods
zetec turbo will be around stage 1 cossie power?,so a atlas would be needed, bigger brakes and depending on gearbox bigger tunnel ect

but each to there own if you want turbo zetec go for it
