Basically a few people know i own the FWD cossied Fiesta and im planning on putting the engine back to STG 1 spec.

I want to know what's the best box to use.I know escort is prob the best due to LSD but will a ST170 6 speed fit and still be up to the job? Also it's running a paddle clutch witch to be honest is a bugger as its juddering when it engages and also makes a sort of whine almost grind type noise when changing down gear so is this on its way out aswell?

AFAIK the 6 speed getrag box is a twat to fit to anything other than a duratec. Cant you stick a mtx 75 on it?

Thnx for that.Do you think it would handle 280bhp ok or would i need to uprate it atall? I,m basically looking for the cheapest,but best way to upgrade from standard fiesta box.
