Right getting my block and pistons etc back from the engineering shop.
I've had the crank polished
Got all new bearings, all new gaskets, water and oil pump, thermostat
Just about to start getting the crapy old paint off the outside and repaint it black as the car is as well.
Any tips when building it back together from the knowledgeable people out there.
Also when setting my ignition timing(i can get a gun off a mate) what should i set it to. Ive got a piper 285 t2 cam in there.
Do I jsut get my vernier pulley set dead on the dot on the head?
want to get it ok so i can drive it up to power for them to do an initial set up and dont want all my new bits getting damaged.
Thanks for any help guys
