I've bought a couple of days ago a 205 cosw block with wiseco pistons. There's a lot of work that should be done this winter...

Nope,he never managed to get it work properly. I think he had some problems with the ignition.

Here's some plans about the setup it will be running next year..
- 2wd cosw block with std crank / con-rods and wiseco pistons.
- Ported pinto head,big inlet valves,camshaft ??.
- Large ic.
- Turbo??(Holset hx35w,garret t3/4???We'll see.)
- Megasquirt.
- etc....

Cause here in Finland we have certain rules that makes it too difficult and the second problem with YB is that they're way to expensive here. The main problem is that we have a hp limit for each model and the YB is too "powerful" for my car.

Huge? I think the offset is just perfect. They're 9x16 and the offset is 15. Love the wheels.

Hello Finlanders, I have been to Finland three times for the 1000 lakes rally, I couldn't believe the huge retro Ford folowing over there US and UK. Mustang, Capri, Granada,Cortina and Escort. You have the bonus that you use studded tyres and not salt as over here.

The power limitation is only for the MOT but nobody knows how much power u actually got there or should I say how much power u use on the street/strip/racetrack.
It's quite hard to explain the rules we've got here cause they're not allways so easy to understand.

Nope..The instance who makes the rules is just a big bunch of assholes, that's the problem. We've also got many other rules that makes this hobby very complicated here in Finland.
If you update the brakes on your car to bigger/stronger or change the engine/gearbox they'll count the precentage of how much you've changed the car. Up to 49,9% is it allowed without paying the taxes again. When the percentage is more than 50% you have to pay the taxes.

do they sell well over there?
Mk3's (TC1? over there?) are well sort after here but the taunus Mk2 just doesn't seem to be loved, Mk5 get a fair bit of attention on the tuining front, not a lot but still more than the Mk4/Taunus Mk2.

looks very familiar, it was near the ford dealership, at a block of flats, but it had standard wheels and a beige interior. Are you near there?
