its a 1.3 xflow at moment and cant decide wot to put in it. would love a cozzy but costs alot then thought about a 2.0 xe but still expensive and heard a few people say they cant get them 2 run right in a mark2. so looks like a 2.0 pinto if i can find 1 for sale. cant get any up north.

Hey, either get a 2.0pinto or for a brilliant sidewards time, 2.1 BDA engine. My dads mate just sold his 2.1 BDA rally prepared mk2 for nearly Ł50000 - NO joke!!!!!!! He's now got a mk1 escort but he wants to do the same as the mk2 he just sold. BDA engines are VERY reliable. Not sure if this info would help in anyway

Default Nice!

Nice 'Scort!

If i were you i would search the classifieds to find a 2.0 or 2.1 pinto motor that has been built up, can be had quite cheaply, Budget for about 700 quid for the whole thing inc carbs (40s or 45s) and u should have a car that puts a massive smile on your face with enough torque to break the rears no probs

I like the Colour of yours - Sweet
