Default smell burned oil, but no smoke, no play shaft in turbo

hi !

My erst s2 has a full rebuilt engine who has ~1000miles
but:
- I can smell burned oil after I was full throttle
- A mate followed me and noticed very few blue/white smoke, no smoke when idling
- the turbo play shaft is normal for me, but there is oil in intercooler piping and in the comrpessor house/wheel

for me my turbo is going to die soon even if it has a normal play shaft...
what do you think about it?

I'd clean out the hoses and the intercooler and flush out all the oil (use some petrol in the intercooler to thin out the oil then wash it out) then see how it is after that. If it still smokes, get saving for a turbo.

Have you fitted an uprated breather? If not, it would be a good idea.
