Car has been sat for about 2 months now and not had any problem getting into it if i needed to.
but just been to the workshop and i cant open the doors.
managed to climb thru the boot and limbo under the cage but even from inside the doors dont open
anything obvious that packs up or goes wrong?
PLS HELP

Rene, i popped the post up and went for my dinner
Key wont open any of the doors, doors wont open from inside either, its almost as if its deadlocked.
amd the battery isnt connected either, hasnt been connected for the 2 months its been sat there

If so, it's prob jus stuck shut, doors stick to the seals if not been opened for ages, unlock, pull handle and PUSH

if you unlock it from the inside, there is no reason why it shouldnt open, unless the car has deadlocks, which i amm sure the escossie doesnt.
key should work in the door, regardless of whther it has a battery or not, or have you just never checked? post 1993 ford locks are notorious for going wrong

it worked with the key all the time over the past few weeks.
last time the doors was opened was about 10 days ago and i cant imagine they would have just sealed there-selves shut in that time in a dry warm workshop.
neither lock or door handle seems to do anything, been inside almost kicking the doors so they arnt stuck!
