Megasquirt - any good??!!

As above, not knowing an awful lot about all this ecu / mapping malarky I was wondering whether megasquirt would be a cost effective way of upgrading my management (ofac). If im on the wrong route please correct me!!!
Engine is currently low comp efi cvh with st3 head, cossie t3 running about 15psi.

yes mate dont be put off by the name ive spent few hours with gareth t mapping a 21 turbo on one its turned out really well, resolution is spot on quite easy to map and constant upgrades
the car in question is runing 1.2 bar on a t34 and everthing works as it should drives really smooth the owner soys the drivability is same as before on oem

i offered to build a loom think dougy offered to but people will be people and go there own way shame really as it would have bein finished by now but once again quite a amazing bit of kit for the cash
V2.2 or V3 is just the board!
How powerful the ECU depoends on the process... and that can be MS1 or MS2.
Not all the software avaible will run on MS2 however. For example the stuff refered to as the Extra code that runs EDIS will not work on MS2.
