Default Speakers on S1's

What size diameter should the speaker holes in a S1 parcel shelf be as standard ? Got myself a shelf with no holes in and want to put the correct size holes in. Also, can anyone recommend what speakers of this diameter to fit ? Don't wanna spend a fortune on some but want good sound for mucho cheapness cheeRS

They have them in the 2 square sections at the front of the shelf don't they? Or was this just where people put them ?

I'm pretty sure (99%) the shelf you have is wrong the shelf if the holes aren't already in it

Yours is probably a MK4 shelf

Get some components up front and run them off an amp and don't bother with back speakers at all.

It's a Mk3 3i shelf mate. Holes are in the back of the shelf so gonna repair them and put new ones in the front of the shelf and re-cover it ! Will look like a brand new S1 shelf when i'm finished

So what size holes should they be then peeps

I can get you a proper unscathed MK3 shelf, just needs re-covering as its faded brown currently!

The holes are 4 inch but also have cut outs for the screws to pass through.
