Ive just bought a xr2i 1.8 zetec and the tempreture gauge isnt working eny ideas

 

hi ya

on the fiesta turbo the sensor wire is screwed/bolted in just in front of the thermstat housing, it's only a small wire and has a tendersy to break

 

I think its diffrent on the zetec i think it goes on top of the thermostat

 

This happened on my FRST. Things to look at is thermostat, relay behind the fuse board, temp sender unit..... however mine was the actual dial itself so i neded to change that.

it will be one of the above but they are all pretty cheap just start with the cheapest!
