brake lines
With standard brake lines they expand when the brake pedal is pressed,so not all the pressure is going to the caliper,on an aeroquip hose this doesnt happen and so all the pressure goes to the caliper.Throw in some heat from hot brake fluid and the standard lines expand even more, this would be most noticable at a trackday, continued expanding may lead to the standard hose splitting.Regards Micky

as above, less sideways flex or inner fluid capacity expansion ,means a more precise pedal feel, the old rubber items offer reasonable feel /wear,but feel spongy, therefore, replacing with braided gives moveability with a more rigid sidewall than rubber .
