Default oily exhaust chamber

taken my turbo of my 2lt zvh to have a new turbo fitted ( was smoking) but looking at the exhaust chambers on the head and there oil in the number 1 exhaust chamber is this valve stem seals gone ? as i did replace them all when i got the head a few months ago

possibly yes - but but it could also be a valve guide problem. You should be able to see by stripping off the rocker gear again - head in situ. Might be nothing wrong with the turbo!

found a problem with new valve oil stems leaking myself - what i did find was that if you dont lube the top of the valve stem that the cotter fits into , the can damage the seal when installing the valves
