Is it just me or does anyone else get any bother from the law driving there ERST. Got three white slips last weekend alone dont they have anything better to do? Seems to me that they take pleasure in stopping u because u drive a car thats a bit different, Bastards!

 

yes i get bother jus driving my xr2i mates get bother with their rst

 

only time i've ever been stopped was because i was speeding!! and even then he just admired my car and let me off

 

only got 1 producer in a year of owning my RST, mind you i did get pulled over once cause i was out late! lol

 

Had mine over a year now and never been pulled and i drive it late at night

 

Was pulled about 4 times in the s2, twice over plates (got the usual threats but nothing came of it) and others for 'speeding' although they never actually got me on it because i was too far ahead at the time IIRC Must of sounded above the limit

Got one producer then kept insurance cover note in the car with me

 

i had my kitted fiesta in the sig (not to everyones taste but hey hum) and i never got pulled in it in the 4years i drove it , i get my turbo and get pulled quite a few times!

 

In first year of driving I've had one producer for getting into a lane too late.. (apparently.)

A fixed penalty notice for "Causing Uneccessary noise." The copper started the car and reved it himself.. then proceded to look through his book to see what he could do me for.

And got pulled over because another member of the public reported me because I swore at him for being a shit driver.

 

got pulled for my black and silver plates once bu thats it, maybe becuase RS's go wrong so much i drive it like a nun

 

probably had 3 producers in 7 years, but they were due to not having a front plate etc.

 

never got pulled in the 4months i had my turbo on road b4 it come off the road. think it might be to do with it bein mercury grey so it doesnt exactly shout out at ya if that makes sense as i mainly was using it at night time. its red now so we wait and see wen it comes back out lol

 

Whne I first got mine I had no end of grief and was getting stopped regulary at least once a week

Now I rarely get stopped and when I do it's either been just a routine check due to the time the cars out (which I have no complaints over) or if I'm caught messing about (which I can't complain about even if I wanted to )

I find treating the plod on the level and being friendly will see you 90% of the time off with a a bit of verbal and nothing else. If you get all arsey from the offset you'll get their backs up and they'll then want to find something to have you for.

 

maybe if you drove it properly it wouldnt go wrong
