Do you have sunday roasts etc? yorkshire puds, meat and 3 veg etc?

Just wondering lol As i just finished my indian and thought i wonder if thats all they eat

yeah i know most of the dishes we eat indian natives havent even heard of pmsl

Normally on a Sunday it involves a chicken based dish with salad for me, thats all really!

 

Im indian (sikh) and i enjoy english food aswell as some indian dishes

 

I remember working in Dewsbury building some housinf association houses and it was in a asain area of Dewsbury and it constantly stunk of spices and herbs and bombay mix lol!

I often wondered back then if its all they ate

i used to frequent curry houses, and order lamb phaal every time

they said they dont eat curries like this back at home, and didnt know how i could

 

on the contrary with my pakistani mates! thing is they all do this wink wink business and get double portions for half price! so i learnt to send them in with my money and meet them at the car!

I was reading an interesting article the other day that basically said that its Globalisation and not immigration that is the curse of the modern age. Either all countries are on an even footing of civilisation/standard of living (never gonna happen for centuries) or we keep our countries as seperate entities - that was seen as the solution. Sadly that doesnt happen and our jobs go abroad to cheap labour and cultures mix badly.
