Looks a bit odd when theres a no plate recess. I'd only have a smaller plate if it was a private one with less digits. Just my opinion.

Looks chav, put the standard plate back on, my cossie had a small plate on it when i bought it, i changed it within a week or so to the standard one as i don't want an excuse to be pulled up by the police. Its totally pointless if ask me.

Never had any probs with mine, my cosworth and golf.
I am sure you could be doing worse things to break the law, robbing, mugging, stabbing, dealing, its not a biggie is it having a small plate!!!!

Hope you have better luck than me then I got stopped and fined Ł40 then had to go to the MOT station and have them sign a document stating I had legal plates back on the car!! They must just have not liked me driving the 3 door!!

normally i like smaller plates on the front, ive got one for my esc turbo, but on that focus it looks silly , but only coz of the bumper recess, sorry

On cars like S2 RST's or Sierra Cossies where the bumper is "smooth" it looks quite cool.
But, the Focus RS has a cutout for the number plate to sit in, if you smoothed the front number plate recess then fitted a small plate it would look cool. but as it looks in that pic.....sorry but it looks crap

As has already said, that plate is too small. Im ok with small plates and have a cut down plate on the front of my Cossie but that just looks odd.
