A few of us are travelling over for a long weekend and due to the usual drop-outs we have a twin room available if anyone wants to join us - either as drivers or passengers....

Just comfirmed our accommodation yesterday otherwise i'd have taken it.

We're staying in a nice family run B&B, so not the height of luxary, but they always look after us .

 

But you get paid so much more than me, technically you should be buying all the beer. For the whole trip.

I know the date has been put back by a month or so, but in April when it was first proposed, it was looking like it would be the mother of all ring trips

 

Because there's about 25 people that left for the Ring yesterday (before I posted), as they wanted to take in the Dutch show as well....

Plus I didn't mention the dates that we were going until this thread, to avoid it being swamped. However, looking at other car forums, it looks as though we still picked the wrong dates to go .

And finally, you have the usual crowd of people that talk the talk (just like TOTB ), but when it comes to walking the walk, they have an excuse .

 

Mike, Neil said it was proper busy last weekend apart from the mid week evening sessions.

Last weekend wasn't busy - just the usual. At about 4 things get much quiter - thats why I prefer to sleep in and leave at about 2 - I'm just on my way now actually.

There is on of the VLN Endurance races. So the Ring will be closed till 5 o clock in the afternoon.

Dad seems to think we're travelling Friday Mike. Obviously he hasn't spoken to you yet so hasn't actually organised anything though!

 

Well just goes to show how awake he was when I phoned him at 12.40am in Thailand .

We're going early hours on Sat morning, as track isn't open until Sat evening, travelling back on Wednesday.

I'm still waiting for him to let me know what he wants to do travel wise .

 

The bloody idiot was humming and harring this morning about whether to go at all, although he did say he MUST ring you! He's aware the track wasn't open untill the Saturday evening but fancied getting there in good time.

 

He's the bloody one that CRAZED me about going - he's a fucking nightmare . Well if he backs out at this stage, HE can phone Robert to explain .
