Going to the Ring on friday and have a tyre dillema.
Was looking for some new wheels but have had no luck .
So i am keeping mine at the mo i have 215/40 /17 tyres ,but the front nearside catches when driving excesivly.
So will i get a 205 /40 on a 17*8 rim.

Secondly what would be a good tyre to go for ,decent amount of grip in all conditions??

Do a search on them as I'm too lazy to type now! I've posted loads about them as....

I REALLY RATE THEM

And I pay Ł95 for mine - most internet places are well over Ł100 for 205/40/17s

Or Ł380 from where I get them from which sounds even better!

Why do u want to go 45 profile ? Its the width what sounds the problem, saying that im sure mine are 215s and are fine.

 

Typo mate ,i have 45`s now and meant 40
