Default koni suspension help

Got a 4x4 saff cosworth, just bought a Koni Kit for it both front and back suspension adjustable, how do I know if front and back are adjusted the same?
If you have this set up what setting have you got on yours?
Thanks

Fronts are adjustable on car - half a turn/180 degrees equates to one 'click.'

Best way to get it to suit you, is one full turn - test, if too firm then back them off half a turn, etc. etc.

Backs can't be adjusted quite as easily (you have to remove lower mounting from car and then push up and turn to the setting which then clicks into place - from memory), and have either 3 (soft, medium, hard) or just the two (soft / hard) settings.

They were originally designed to compensate for wear, but became popular as a 'sport kit' as they can be set to suit your own taste/requirements.

Don't know about the new kits, but previously Koni never made the springs that came with the yellow sports kits - PI/Chassis Dynamic and possibly others were bundled in.

Ahmed Bayjoo has spec'd a set of Leda springs that are supposed to be a very good match for the Koni's - all reports I've heard have been VERY positive, and am currently having some fitted to mine.

would it be best to set the backs on hard and then adjust the fronts after?

Suspension tuning is a bit of a black art, plus it's down to individual taste.

I'd say try 'em soft first if brand new. You ideally don't want to lower it much either, as it will affect the 4x4's ability to deliver optimal traction. Ultimately, you'll have to try a setting and go from there to suit your own preference.

I'd also recommend poly' bushes for the front if you haven't already - they make a huge difference over tired/std bushes.
