Fronts are adjustable on car - half a turn/180 degrees equates to one 'click.'
Best way to get it to suit you, is one full turn - test, if too firm then back them off half a turn, etc. etc.
Backs can't be adjusted quite as easily (you have to remove lower mounting from car and then push up and turn to the setting which then clicks into place - from memory), and have either 3 (soft, medium, hard) or just the two (soft / hard) settings.
They were originally designed to compensate for wear, but became popular as a 'sport kit' as they can be set to suit your own taste/requirements.
Don't know about the new kits, but previously Koni never made the springs that came with the yellow sports kits - PI/Chassis Dynamic and possibly others were bundled in.
Ahmed Bayjoo has spec'd a set of Leda springs that are supposed to be a very good match for the Koni's - all reports I've heard have been VERY positive, and am currently having some fitted to mine.
