I must admit The Contender takes some beating. I watched the last series and I was hooked. The fights are always good. I get that into the fights I sometimes find myself swinging punches into thin air

absolutely, the idea of our SOCO's interviewing and chasing criminals with guns is piss funny
bit like that old programme Diagnosis Murder, where the doctors chase and question suspects criminals, you'd be like "fuck off Doc!!"

True Neil I did see a proper documentary on how 'The Simpsons' is made etc etc on Discovery about 18 months ago.

It was proper brilliant. Takes 5 mnoths to animate, 3 days to do the voices and bingo!

all 50 charactors are done by only 6 people. And they are on Ł1 million+ a year and only work 3 days a week! They've got it easy

And it was announced that it was the most watched TV program in the world

Waiting for a new series of the original CSI (Vegas) to come out (dunno if there will even be a new series) as I love that. Miami is okay, never really got into the NYC one....

Prison Break was good - got into that.....

Other than that, I don't really do TV series stuff - never got into 24, etc.... Tried to watch one that was on ITV4, something about the people who chase down fugatives etc, but got bored by it......

I love The Contender too, I've been a fan of boxing since the eubank/ benn days, but became dis-illusioned with the dodgy results when any fights went to points (i.e. the challenger always got robbed even if he clearly won the fight). I'ver found with the contender that it does seem to be fair, so therefore I have an interest in it.

I think Forbes will end up the winner though. Who's your money on????
