Default FTAO Oranoco & Peeps running Paradas

I had a set off Paradas fitted to the front of my RST at the weekend [205/40/07]....

I drove in with a pair of 'shagged' Toyo Proxes and drove out with the brand new Paradas....the steering instantly felt much lighter around the straight ahead position [a little too light if I'm honest] but turn-in feel/response seemed to be much improved into the bargain

Just wondered if anybody else noticed similar effects? Or is it just me?

Or is it just a case of going from old knackered tyres to brand new ones?

Is there any modification avilable to get rid of the dead steering area around the straight ahead position on an RST so you get similar response to something like a New Mini??

Pradas are kool Very good choıce! I have them on 3 of my cars all round.

Get a decent roll bar lıke a S1 or 16ı ıtem and you wıll feel the effects of the tyres even better.

The S2 suspesnıon\Handlıng setup ıs naff! REALLY NAFF!

It's the effect of going from worn knackered tyres to new ones.

Have to say though I love mine to bits. Better to match the tyres all round as I find the back of mine a little skitty when pushing hard.

Parada's on the front, AVS Sport's on the rear.

So its just the effects of fitting new tyres then

I suppose its no surprise, they did look like this when I drove to the garage:

Oranoco, I had a similar moment to that at Croft at about 100mph.....my mate in the passenger seat held on for dear life after that!!
