Default FTAO Oranoco & Peeps running Paradas

I had a set off Paradas fitted to the front of my RST at the weekend [205/40/07]....

I drove in with a pair of 'shagged' Toyo Proxes and drove out with the brand new Paradas....the steering instantly felt much lighter around the straight ahead position [a little too light if I'm honest] but turn-in feel/response seemed to be much improved into the bargain

Just wondered if anybody else noticed similar effects? Or is it just me?

Or is it just a case of going from old knackered tyres to brand new ones?

Is there any modification avilable to get rid of the dead steering area around the straight ahead position on an RST so you get similar response to something like a New Mini??
