I havn't heard of this being done so thought I'd ask.

 

They are soooo small if taken from a passenger car. Boost from idle to 3500 rpm and then nothing. Not optimal for petrol cars. Diesel truck turbos on the other hand are quite ok and have been used on big hp Cossies with good results for years.

 

didnt somone try it and when he got to full boost of about a bar i think or less it let go taking his engine too
