Just enquiring at the miniute, im thing of rebuilding my cosworth engine. Its a 205 block what are the best pistons to go for and what compression is the best as I want it quite powerful. Thinking of going to a stage3. Any help would be great.

For stage 3, a set of standard 4wd pistons (in .5mm oversize or whatever is approriate to the state of your block) would make good sense, as this will drop the CR a touch when used with the 2wd head.

I wouldnt go any lower than that unless you want to be making 400bhp+ though personally.

Is that all i need just standard 4wd ones. The car is a 2wd and the engine is pretty standard. What about conrods? I want it to be reliable and dont want it to blow up on me! lol.

Std 2wd engine is 8.0:1 compression ratio if you use 4x4 pistons it drops the ratio to 7.8:1..... and std rods are fine
