cosworth 8 injector ecu converted by turbo systems in 1993

i bought this for a project but never used it(came of a 4x4 saff)

is the lack off interest in 8inj setups because nobody wants big power? or the cost off the conversion?

any thoughts???

Is it straight forward replacement for P8 in the Escort??

 

well its an easy swap cos they use the same ecu plug
you will have to have an 8inj sub loom wired in and 10 position boost switch for the air injectors.
after that it up to you what spec engine you use?
if you use a wrc inlet manifold they cost about £400+£450 for my ecu(+postage)
then you have the option of running over 500bhp!!

engine spec:low comp pistons,ported head,high spec cams,hybred turbo 8 dark green injectors,10 position boost control switch,air injectors,large intercooler.
my engine was same sort off spec as this and i had 520bhp!.

We are talking about 1000£ total?? 8 injector ecu and some airinjector setup or boostcontroller i guees.. correct??

I am working on some greys at the moment.. and then my engine will blow cause of upgrading all the time then it is a rebuildt... then I will look at a 8 injectorsetup then for big power..

is this ecu stiil available sounds like the ecu i be looking for coming to
end of my rebuild 200 low comp bottom end wrc headgasket ported &
polish head with bd14 cams wrc 8 injector inlet gt30r turbo, i also
want to run air injector boost control if you still have it send me a pm

with that set up mate you will be making at least 520bhp with very little lag!

You don't need 8 injectors for big power matey. I have over 600bhp on 4 injectors.

Plenty of people still like to go for the old RS500 8 injector set up though so good luck with the sale.
