Default Head gasket recommendation

Finally got my S2 RST engine rebuilt, had the car running and everything was fine until the head gasket went after about 30 miles . Got the gasket as part of a CVH gasket kit for an RST, although i'm now not sure that it was an RST kit . The car was running standard boost at 8 psi.

So can anyone recommend a cheap but good headgasket as i don't intend to trun the boost up above the 8psi as i am going to sell the car

cheers

Standard rst gasket is about the best. If you got a non-turbo cvh gasket, then the failure was expected.

As above, I really can't rate the Ford item highly enough. My Felpro went between 3 and 4 mid race with a Porsche Was repaired with a genuine Ford item within a couple of hours but I couldn't find the Porka for a rematch

Do you know why the gasket failed in the first place? If you can, give the head a check for flatness, it might be warped?
