Default mk2 escort boot spoiler?

does any1 know if fibreglass mk2 escort boot spoilers are any good and do they look ok. never seen 1 before and just want 2 know if they look right before i buy 1 because i cant find a rubber 1 anywhere. also seen a carbon fibre 1 but dont know if they look right either.

Lots of rubber ones about if you buy Classic Ford mag and ring about the traders in there.

Fibre ones tend to be crap so best get a good one. Brakets can also fall off them.

Carbon ones are very nice and also obviously much lighter, but cost a few bob!

how much do u want 4 it and where r u at. i got a fibreglass 1 on at the mo it doesnt look 2 bad well compared to the rest of the car

Baz, have you tried Pete of RWD, that is based in the Consett area? He has all sorts of spares in his lock up.

tried him a few months back he didnt have any. i heard he doing mostly painting and bodywork now. the fibreglass spoiler doesnt look that bad think i will just keep it on. i not that bothered about having a show winner just sumthing thats fun and fast. so best go get me a decent engine

I have got one stashed in my roof for a rainy day, I also have a fibreglass one. The good carbon ones look good if you are not after orginality?

ive still got my original boot and a fibreglass one...going to sell both as im going carbon throughout the car!

bonnet is around Ł400 and boot is about Ł300 off the top of my head.
