Project Si
well i thought i would do a post about my Si and the stuff it has gone through in the few months ive had it, well to start, i got it for a good price of £270
and its got 48k on the clock, engine purrs like a kitten, and runs absolutley fine, the only prob was the door.

the interior is near mint, just some mold on the roof lining and on the seatbelts.

heres a pic of the engine bay when i got it:

and now with a new filter on it:

well to start off with was to get a new door on, just needs a little fiddle to get it perfect.

found some rust on the front valance.

and now looks like this.

the first bits i decieded to get were some new dials, and some clear rear lights.

so on with the body work, today i sorted the holes on the wing sanded the bonnet and the bumper and sprayed in primer.

well took the rear bumper off today (21st Jul) and sanded the boot, still need to take the sticky stuff off and sand again. so when i took the bumper off i found this:

so ordered a rear valance so that should arrive in the next week, so will fit that and then its off to have its re-test.
well finally cut off the rear valance so that is awaiting the new one to be welded

ive fitted my mk4 wiper arm

and heres a pic of the smoothed spolier and the top swage line gone

finally got around to fitting the rear valence, so ive sprayed it up black again so it looks like this:

and ive sorted the dint and the deep scratches on the rear bumper aswell and finally smoothed off under the rear lights:

well thats it, for now, its going for its VIC test on the 31st so i will be able to carry on with it after that, (if it passes)
next on the list to do:
take n/s arche spat off, sort rust, (if there is any)
finish prepping the front bumper as some Sh1t cracked it
fit skirts and arches
then it can go for its respray.
cheers
