posted my pistons to them on monday to be machined and have valve pockets put in them they were back this morning at 10 o clock TOP JOB AND VERY QUICK

they look pretty sporty

just look out for the really thin spots at the outer edge of the piston, Subaru tried the same thing in the WRX engines and they melt a fair amount of them when they go lean (due to an MAF problem) and there is not sufficient material there to 'wick' the heat away fast enough.

no problem....just stating the similarity to the current WRX design

since you don't use a MAF sensor (so it can't get dirty and cause you to go very lean) you most likely won't have that problem

just something I noticed

BTW, it looks like BP does nice work

Jsut in case anyone is interested - Burton don't do the machining, it is passed to CTM Racing next door to them - actually along with all the head/block/turbo work they take in, so if you ring them direct and ask for either Charlie or Baz you might get it done cheaper
