Please Help!

I have a 1980 mk2 estatew with a standard 2ltr pinto enigne in it out of a 1973 cortina. Iv tired loads of insurace companies even some ford specalists and they dont want to know, one company would not insure me on a classic car cos im under 25!!!!

 

IM INSURED THROUGH HIC WITH MY MK2 ESCORT, ONLY PAYING £740 AND THATS WITH COSSIE ENGINE, THATS UNDER A CLASSIC POLICY, IM ONLY 24, I THINK YOU HAVE TO BE OVER 21 WITH THEM FOR CLASSIC POLICY

 

Well noodles is 23 in sept so hopefully he can get something sorted. It's been doing his head in. Just b'coz its a 2 litre he's put in, no-one wants to touch him. They keep saying its too big a jump from a 1.1 to a 2.0. It's daft. The pinto isn't the quickest engine going.
