Ok am just in the process of replugging up my S1 after an engine bay resto, and i have one valve i just cant find a connector / plug for....

At the rear of the inlet manifold, at the bottom beside the branches, there is a valve that threads in the manifold, there is a water pipe that goes onto either side of it....one from water pump and the other from the block i think...

There is also a grey plug on it, that looks like it SHOULD HAVE something plugged onto it, but am buggered if i can find a plug in the loom anywhere that goes into it ?!

Can anyone shed any light please ??

Ive got this on mine, it has got a round shaped connector going to it, like the one that goes on the air charge temp sensor.On a previous engine change i had one of these that just had a stragiht through pipe with no connector so i dont think its a must for some ecu's? Mines a S2 but maybe this wasn't on the S1 if you have changed the inlet manifold aswell have a look on your old one c whats on that one.

Just ignore it, its a secoindary CTS off a series 2, the ecu's they have require a signal from this
