Depends what you're doing, I'd say...
For single jobs, they'll probably about the same (they both use 2.0GHz cores, just the x2 has two of them), but for multi-tasking the dual-core of the 3800 x2 will stand out as the better of the two.

As said above, probably just doodling on the net etc you wont notice much difference(but there will be some) and then if you start opening loads of programmes, start msn, media player etc and especially games, the x2 will come into its own

stupid question prob but will the pc start up quicker ?
logicly thinking it should if two 3800 cpu's are doin it instead of one 3200 or is that not how it works ?

Dont expect miracles though, i mean it will be slightly slightly quickly alround but as said above its more noticable when you start doing more labour intensive tasks
