Nissan Silvia S12 fits the bill nicely.

This one seems worth a look

what are you expecting for £600???

if its RWD and turbo then its gonna be a wreck, about the cheapest you could get that would be half decent would be a rotten s13.
expect to pay double that though over a couple of months

There was a black nissan sylvia turbo for sale round the corner from me a couple of weeks ago, or what about an old (would have to be tatty like for that price) supra, or as said an old 200sx, you do see them on Ebay for that price.

Bit more than £600 like, but I once bought a red (not burgundy) rover 220 coupe turbo, full cream leather, t-bar etc, in great cond with 80k miles for £1100. Few people took the piss like but it went like an absolute rocket, 0-60 about 6.4 iirc.

I think you will struggle to find one converted to RWD for the same money though and it was specifically a RWD car the thread started was after (presumabley for a bit of "tramp drift") so that suggestion probably isnt much use TBH

Oooooooh! Just tryin to ilustrate the fact that you can get great performance for not much money.

Funny about the drift because the day i bought the car my mate took it round a round-about and it went completely sideways, we later found out that the tyres had varying psi between 12&20

They are about 140bhp I think, same engine as in Bluebird Turbo's. They are called CA18ET and are similar engines to the CA18DET found in S13 200SX's but they are single cam rather than double on the S13. No intercooler. You can do a few mods to get more power out of them. The rear axle set-up is no where near as good as the S13 though.

You can buy a S13 for £600 but you'd be hard pushed to buy one for £600 that won't go pop after the 1st drift day you do. If you buy an S13, you'd want to have some money available to fix it. With the S12, they are an ugly duckling so £600 will get you a better car.
