JUst got htis to finish my dash of and the sensor is too long to go in a 32mm hose adapter, would it be ok if i put a boss in the lower part of my header tank or is the sensor made of solid brass or whatever and could i just cut the end off of it

 

it will fit get a spacer made to go between the boss and hose adaptor to take up the length of the sender.
